Competition Fees
At the committee meeting held
on Monday14th January The committee have agreed to increase
the entry fees into competitions. This will be the first
increase for over 5 years.
The entry fees in future will
be £5 for a timed start and £8 for shotgun starts, the entry
fee for medals will remain at £3.
Clubs- Drivers
From January
2008 there is a large range of drivers that are going to be
ruled as “illegal” golf clubs.
The rule has
been made by the R&A and states, clubs ruled as illegal can
be used for social golf, but not used for any round played
under R&A rules and for rounds where scores would be
recorded for handicap purpose.
